The Region was founded on January 2003. The Region was named after the first nun (foundress) of our Congregation Sister Savariammal. We are "Missionaries" having no institution of our own, working in seven Dioceses in their, parishes & Institutions. At present we are working in three States Jammu Kashmir, Maharastra and Madhya Pradesh under Seven Dioceses in Eleven Communities. The main appostolate is Education either in the formal or in the non formal way, doing Medical and Social services like running Hostel and doing Pastoral Activities
