Education


INTRODUCTION

Jesus grew both in body and in wisdom, gaining favour with God and people. (Lk 2 – 52)

Rev.Fr.Joseph Louis Ravel M.E.P, our founder Step into our soil which was in a deplorable condition devasted by evils of casteism, religious fanatism and superstition and other forms in human forces. Our founder was convinced of the bad situation and to work towards the development of the poor, downtrodden, economically and educationally and to dispel the darkness of ignorance and illiteracy by starting educational institutions. Thus he started elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, Arts and science colleges and community colleges, school of nursing, and BED colleges. These institutions are dedicated for the greater glory of God, to the nation, to the human society and to fulfill the aspirations of women for their development in education and employment.


Aim

  1. Education to the poor children in the spirit of the charism
  2. Through a quality education to the women in order to abolish social maladies and to uplift their standard of life
  3. To train in skills and creativity to form responsible citizens
  4. To live selfless other oriented life.
  5. To inculcate in them values, love, justice, truth, equality, brotherhood.
  6. To become aware of the inequality in the society.
  7. To empower women towards growth in personal family life and the life of the nation at large.
  8. To the new humanism, brotherhood, and new society
  9. To train poor Catholic students through an integrated educational approach.

Vision

  1. To help children, youth, young women to grow in body, moral life and intellectual caliber from the background of psychology, educational studies and practical teaching methods
  2. To acquire responsibility, maturity, true freedom by training to be courageous and perseverance
  3. To provide sex education with care and caution to help according to the age group

It is our duty to make education, educational institution related to practical life. Our congregation through educational institutions serves the purpose of women emancipation. Our congregation has extended the educational service from Tamil Nadu to Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir,Africa& Italy. We shall be committed to helping our educational institutions to fulfill their responsibility especially in the mission of the needs of the poor marginalized, underprivileged, destitute and non-believers.
